Life Story-
Albert Hedges was born in Guildford on the 29th March 1928 to a travelling family.
Lillian Willis was born 5th December 1930 to a market and horse trader family.
They met and courted in Portsmouth and Bentley area, and they got Married on the 24th March 1951 at Portsmouth Cathedral.
Albert and Lil spent their early years together travelling and finding work wherever they could, and as the family grew along the way, with the births of Lily, Jean, Albert Jr and Ronald, they finally settled down in Portsmouth, where the family remained.
In their lifetimes they became grandparents, and their legacy lives on with their great grandchildren too.

You were both the foundation of our family, and you are so deeply missed.

Our dear Mum and Dad didn't have much in life, but we all had so much love. My dad worked so hard and so many hours doing anything he could to put food on the table. My old mum stayed home and looked after us. We were so blessed to have such good parents. They will always live on through us all. Never forgotten, always in our hearts and memories.xx
