How Tesoramore began-
HOW TESORAMORE STARTED-
Tesoramore started as a 'labour of love project' for myself (Sabrina) and Steve due to a love of unique jewellery, creativity and a passion for creating meaningful and sentimental pieces.
Steve had a background in engineering and design, and I had a background in business management and 10 years experience as a therapist (which has contributed hugely to the memorial sector, as grief counselling was a service offered), and most importantly, we both wanted to improve our lives, and create a meaningful legacy.
Steve would design jewellery pieces as a hobby, and this would be done alongside his job as a bike mechanic.
One day a family friend asked Steve to make them a ring, so together we designed a bespoke ring, custom made it (in our bedroom with very basic tools), but it received such a hugely positive response, that we decided to turn this into a business.
It wasn't long before we were receiving lots of requests, including a request for memorial jewlellery. And my experience in grief therapy, we were able to offer a truly empathetic, supportive and guided service.
We saw the massive potential for our business, but found that we weren't quite able to dedicate our time, energy and focus to it fully due to our other full-time jobs, and knew that if we were to ever take this from a hobby to a real business we would need to go 'all in'.
So in 2034 we took a huge leap of faith and left our jobs to focus on our dream to to become a leading jewellery and keepsake brand, which was further enhanced when we added our exclusive digital keepsake range- 'Treasured Love', making us pioneers in the jewellery/keepsake field.
Since then we have become trusted memorial jewellery suppliers to Funeral Director Services all across the UK, and had articles written about us for business innovation. And we still have so much more to achieve.
